Moderation
As a moderator Saskia van Stein structures debates, (group)conversations and interviews, or contributes as day chairwoman to symposia and conferences. Van Stein is well versed in contemporary discourses on design and the designed environment, visual arts, the culture of architecture, socio-economic issues, cultural politics and the politics of art and design. Besides topics relevant to architecture, landscape, urbanism, fashion and design her strengths are in policy, people and our planet. Always well prepared, her tone is open and inquisitive, ultimately aiming to create an environment and an atmosphere in which the speaker(s) can give their bes performance and open conversations with the audience are possible. Drawing from her vast experience, van Stein can make suggestions on formats for positive encounters or productive exchanges, and she will assist the client in gettin a clear perspective on the intended outcome of the event.
